Test connection between two hosts on specific port (tcp) using PowerShell:
On destination host:
- testing tcp: run listener on port 2212 (substitute) using tcp:
$listener = [System.Net.Sockets.TcpListener]2212; $listener.start() - when done: stop listening:
$listener.stop()
On source host:
- testing tcp: run Test-NetConnection to connect to destination host on port 2212 (susbtitute both IP and port) using tcp:
Test-NetConnection 10.10.10.10 -port 2212
